Ongoing Projects

Through hands-on, adventure-driven conservation, my projects focus on protecting rivers, coastlines, and wild places by removing pollution and promoting recycling. Whether paddling rivers, exploring shorelines, or working in coastal environments, this work turns exploration into measurable impact—keeping waste out of waterways, protecting wildlife, and proving that adventure and responsibility can go hand in hand.

River & Ocean Cleanups

This project focuses on restoring rivers, coastlines, and wild places through hands-on cleanups and exploration. By removing trash before it can harm wildlife or break down into microplastics, these efforts help protect ecosystems both upstream and downstream. Through consistent action and community involvement, I have helped remove over 49,000 pounds of trash from rivers, beaches, and coastal environments—proving that direct action can create measurable change.

Monofilament Recycling

This project focuses on removing and recycling discarded fishing line to protect wildlife and waterways. Abandoned monofilament can entangle fish, birds, turtles, and other animals, and it often goes unnoticed in rivers, lakes, and coastal areas. Through recycling bins, and community involvement, I have helped remove and recycle over 10,000 miles of fishing line, turning one of the most dangerous forms of pollution into a powerful opportunity for conservation.

Aluminum Recycling

This project focuses on reducing waste and protecting waterways through aluminum recycling. By collecting, sorting, and recycling discarded aluminum cans from local businesses, I help divert this precious material from landfills while conserving energy and natural resources. To date, I have personally recycled over three tons of aluminum, proving that small, consistent actions can add up to real environmental impact.

Community Outreach

I often speak at community events, conferences, & workshops, and schools sharing insights on wildlife conservation & sustainable practices. These speaking opportunities allow me to connect with diverse audiences, encouraging more people to become advocates for the environment.
